Nothing gives a gardener more pleasure than being able to pop out to the garden and pick a jug full of flowers to enjoy in the house or give to a friend.

Back for a third year running is my popular 1 day workshop which will inspire you to grow interesting and different varieties of perennials and annual plants in your garden, which you can cut a jug full every week from as early as February to first frosts in autumn.

On this one day workshop I will cover popular varieties to grow, how to prepare your ground for planting, how to nurture, feed and look out for pests and problems and how to treat organically, we will have a seed sowing practical and finish the day with a Q&A session around the table with refreshments and homemade cake too.

You’ll need to:

Keep the date in your diary!

Wear layers and bring boots/wellies and waterproofs we will go out in the rain!

Bring a notebook, pen and camera

Space in your car to take home your seedlings and seed trays

Advise us of any dietary requirements asap
